Welcome to The Government Polytechnic
Government Polytechnic Shaktifarm was established in October 1985 with Electronics Engineering. In anticipation of the availability of the institution’s own land and building, Polytechnic continued to run in the premises of the Government Polytechnic Kashipur. Polytechnic started two new cources Chemical Engineering in the year 2006 and Chemical Technology (Rubber & Plastic) in the year 2008. Polytechnic office and classes were shifted from premises of the Government Polytechnic Kashipur to a rented building in Swastik rice mill Sitarganj in July 2009. The polytechnic shifted in June-2016 to its own Govenment building located in the industrial area SIDCUL Sitarganj 15 Km apart from Sitarganj towards Haldwani (NAINITAL). A new course Electrical engineering is introduced by the State Government in the year 2023.
